OnMeta is Looking for:
We are looking for a
React Native Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience to join OnMeta's engineering team in Bangalore. You will own specific modules end-to-end (e.g. KYC flow) within an existing live fintech app that enables users to invest in Bitcoin via SIP — similar to Groww or JAR. This is not a greenfield role; you will enhance, maintain, and scale a pre-built product at pace.
What You'll Do
- Take complete end-to-end ownership of assigned app modules (e.g. KYC, onboarding, transaction flows)
- Build, maintain, and enhance features on an existing cross-platform React Native app (Android + iOS)
- Integrate and manage Firebase services including authentication, analytics, Crashlytics, and push notifications
- Work with Expo / Expo Dev Client for build and testing workflows
- Collaborate closely with the backend and product design teams for fast feature delivery
- Ensure high code quality, reusability, and maintainability across the mobile codebase
- Participate in all three rounds of the interview-to-delivery cycle: implementation, testing, and release
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native (JavaScript/ES6+ and TypeScript proficiency is implied)
- Solid Firebase integration experience — external SDK integrations, auth, Crashlytics, push notifications
- Experience with Expo / Expo Dev Client
- At least one live production app released on the Play Store or App Store
- Experience developing and debugging on both Android and iOS
- Demonstrated ability to own a feature or module end-to-end with minimal supervision
Good to Have
- iOS development depth (preferred over Android-only experience)
- Fintech or payment domain background
- UPI / payment gateway integration experience
- Live app with 10K+ downloads on any store
- Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and Crashlytics
- Early-stage startup experience (Pre-Series B)
