Job Description
Firstventure is seeking a talented and innovative React Native Developer to join our product team. This role involves planning, coordinating, and developing code for our applications, with a strong focus on enhancing the Courseplay Mobile App and creating new software solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a team committed to making a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and develop code for the company's software products, working closely with the rest of the product team.
- Conduct thorough research on the latest software development practices and emerging technologies.
- Develop new features and functionalities for the Courseplay Mobile App, ensuring high performance and user experience.
- Identify and fix bugs found in the software, contributing to overall application stability and quality.
- Develop new applications and software solutions that complement our existing offerings.
- Conduct comprehensive tests on your own code before deployment to ensure quality and prevent regressions.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize and develop innovative new features.
- Adhere strictly to software development best practices throughout the coding process.
- Write clean, well-structured code with appropriate comments for maintainability and collaboration.
- Regularly test your own code to ensure functionality and performance.
- Work with innovative technologies including React Native, chatbots, SCORM, xAPI, Zend Framework, Responsive Web Design, video streaming, AWS, mobile apps, and more.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in handling deadlines and taking responsibility for project outcomes.
- Capable of managing projects and processes within the company.
- Possesses a sharp eye for detail in all aspects of development and testing.
- Possesses good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Minimum 1 year experience in any MVC Framework is required.
- Knowledge of e-Learning standards such as SCORM, xAPI, and AICC is a huge bonus.
- Experience in Zend Framework is a huge bonus.
