React Native Developer (Contractor)

About the Role

We are looking for an experiencedReact Native Developerto build and maintain high-performance mobile applications foriOS and Android. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, well-architected mobile solutions with a strong focus on performance, usability, and code quality.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintaincross-platform mobile applicationsusing React Native
• Translate UI/UX designs intopixel-perfect, high-quality code
• IntegrateRESTful APIs / GraphQLand third-party SDKs
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and app size
• Writeclean, reusable, and testable codefollowing best practices
• Implementstate managementsolutions (Redux, Zustand, MobX, etc.)
• Ensure smooth app releases and manageApp Store & Play Store deployments
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Debug and resolve production issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experiencein mobile app development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native
• Strong proficiency inJavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience withReact Hooks, functional components, and modern RN patterns
• Solid understanding ofAndroid and iOS platform specifics
• Familiarity withnative modules(Android Kotlin/Java, iOS Swift/Objective-C)
• Experience withCI/CD pipelinesfor mobile apps
• Knowledge of mobile app security, performance optimization, and accessibility
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox)

Good to Have

• Experience withExpo / Expo EAS
• Familiarity withFastlane
• Knowledge ofoffline-first architecture
• Experience withanalytics & monitoring tools(Firebase, Sentry, Crashlytics)
• Prior experience leading mobile projects or small teams
