Build one intelligent application that connects customers, secure delivery devices, cameras, cloud services and AI.

The Opportunity

DoorBox.ai is developing the next generation of its patented smart package-delivery platform. Our application allows customers to register and manage DoorBox devices, remotely control secure access, monitor deliveries, receive real-time alerts and obtain visual proof of delivery.

We are looking for hands-on mobile developers who can combine strong React Native and Expo engineering with modern AI-assisted development. You will help create a fast, reliable, secure and intuitive product—not simply a demonstration app.

What You Will Build

·        A single production-grade application for Android and iOS using React Native, Expo and TypeScript

·        Secure onboarding, authentication, customer profiles and DoorBox device registration

·        Remote lock/unlock controls and reliable communication with IoT devices and cloud APIs

·        Bluetooth and Wi-Fi provisioning, device health, connectivity and battery-status workflows

·        Push notifications, delivery history, images, live/recorded video and security alerts

·        AI-assisted delivery insights, intelligent notifications, diagnostics and customer support

·        Automated testing, CI/CD, release management and deployment to the App Store and Google Play

Core Skills We Are Seeking

·        React Native & TypeScript: Strong practical ability to build reusable, maintainable mobile applications.

·        Expo ecosystem: Expo SDK, Expo Router, development builds, config plugins and native-module integration.

·        Expo Application Services (EAS): Build, Submit, Update and CI/CD workflows for Android and iOS.

·        Mobile engineering: Navigation, state management, offline handling, permissions, secure storage and responsive UI.

·        Backend integration: REST APIs, WebSockets, authentication, Firebase/Supabase or comparable cloud services.

·        Quality: Unit/integration testing, device testing, crash diagnostics, performance optimization and secure coding.

·        Release ownership: Android signing, Apple provisioning, TestFlight, Play Console and store-release processes.

·        Git & collaboration: GitHub, pull requests, code review, issue tracking and clear technical documentation.

AI-Accelerated Development

We want developers who use AI responsibly to move faster while retaining engineering judgment, source-code quality, security and test coverage. Experience with any of the following is valuable:

·        Cursor with React Native/Expo for implementation, refactoring and codebase navigation

·        Claude Code for architecture, debugging, reviews and complex feature development

·        OpenAI Codex for repository-level implementation, testing and documentation

·        Replit Agent + Expo for rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept development

·        GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini or comparable AI coding tools

Candidates do not need experience with every tool. Strong React Native/Expo fundamentals, the ability to verify AI-generated code and a willingness to learn rapidly are more important.

Highly Valuable Experience

·        Published React Native applications in the Apple App Store or Google Play

·        BLE, Wi-Fi, camera, video streaming, push notifications or IoT-device integration

·        Custom native Android/iOS modules, Expo config plugins or prebuild workflows

·        Firebase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Google Cloud or secure cloud APIs

·        Mobile security, payment/subscription integration, monitoring and analytics

·        Taking a product from architecture and prototype through testing and production release
