The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a React / Full Stack User Interface Developer to lead automation and development of internal tools. In this role, you will build scalable automation solutions that improve and simplify content production workflows, enabling teams to efficiently manage and publish global digital experiences. You will collaborate with AEM, Edge Delivery Services, and Web Production teams to design and implement modern web applications and automation platforms using React, Node.js, and cloud-native technologies. This role requires bringing Generative AI (GenAI) into play to develop intelligent systems for content auditing, production workflow automation, and decision support. This work will help scale web operations and enhance efficiency. Candidates should have strong frontend expertise in React, working knowledge of Node.js, and experience building end-to-end applications and automation tools that solve real-world business challenges.

What you will do:

.Work with International Project Leads to provide automation solutions that improve and accelerate content authoring and publishing workflows.

.Build automation platforms and internal tools using React, Node.js, and modern web frameworks.

.Design and implement scalable MERN-based applications and deploy them using Docker and cloud-native deployment pipelines.

.Develop automation solutions that streamline large-scale content production activities across multiple geographies and languages.

.Build GenAI-powered solutions to help with content auditing, workflow automation, intelligent insights, and efficiency improvements.

.Collaborate with AEM and Edge Delivery teams to integrate web production requirements into new platform capabilities.

.Work with APIs including Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint API, and other enterprise systems to automate data-driven workflows.

.Develop and maintain reusable components, utilities, and automation frameworks to improve development velocity.

.Fix and resolve issues related to AEM, Edge Delivery Services (Franklin/Helix), and web automation systems.

.Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and Jira story grooming to define scalable automation strategies.

.Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering quality.

.Maintain documentation for automation frameworks, internal tools, and system architectures to facilitate information exchange.

.Collaborate across multi-functional teams to ensure web production perspectives are incorporated into engineering initiatives for adobe.com.

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech/MCA degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building modern web applications.
  • Strong experience in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, XML, AJAX, and Object-Oriented JavaScript.
  • Experience developing full-stack applications using Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building applications from scratch, including architecture design, development, and deployment.
  • Experience designing and building automation tools and scalable engineering solutions for operational workflows.
  • Experience with GenAI or AI-assisted development, including integrating AI APIs or building AI-assisted workflow solutions, is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint API is an advantage.
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic, or Solr, including schema design and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows.
  • Experience working with Docker or containerized deployments.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of modern development practices including CI/CD, testing, and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to design reusable utilities and frameworks rather than relying heavily on third-party libraries.
  • Strong experience fixing complex JavaScript, CSS, and performance issues.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently.
  • Ability to quickly understand enterprise-scale workflows and distributed systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
