Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled ReactJS Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance front-end applications for trading, risk, and research workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building real-time, data-intensive UIs using modern React patterns and JavaScript frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise responsive, real-time web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Implement data visualization and low-latency interaction features for live market and trading data.
- Integrate front-end components with backend services via WebSockets and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with KDB, Java, and Kafka engineers to ensure robust data flow.
- Apply React Hooks, Context API, and State Management for scalable UI architecture.
- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and profiling for production trading environments.
- Work closely with traders, quants, and technology teams to build intuitive, efficient interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in ReactJS, Typescript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and browser-based development.
- Experience with real-time integrations (WebSockets, REST APIs).
- Strong understanding of front-end performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of Node.js, AWS, and event-driven systems (Kafka) is a plus.
Preferred:
- Exposure to Electron, PWA, or Glue42.
- Understanding of financial markets or trading systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills suited to fast-paced fintech or hedge fund environments.
