React Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced developer with strong React.js, React Native and Node.js expertise to support application discovery, transition and modernization initiatives. The role requires strong understanding of application architecture, integrations and enterprise systems while collaborating with engineering, cloud, security and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage application discovery and analyze frontend/backend architecture, APIs, business logic, data models and integrations.
• Understand web, mobile and frontend-backend interaction models across React.js and React Native applications.
• Validate documentation and knowledge transfer against application behavior and source code.
• Identify technical debt, architectural risks, dependencies and integration gaps.
• Support transition, stabilization and modernization activities.
• Drive technical knowledge transfer sessions and review code, architectural decisions and integration approaches.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Security teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, deployment readiness and operational support.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve code understanding and documentation.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 2.5+ years of strong hands-on expertise in React.js, React Native and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, mobile application development, REST APIs, integrations, databases and application design patterns.
• Experience with Git/version control systems, branching strategies and code collaboration workflows.
• Experience working with large enterprise applications and complex codebases.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure practices.
• Experience working with external vendors or third-party teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in application transitions, migrations or modernization programs.
• Exposure to AWS environments.
• Knowledge of security and compliance practices.
• Experience with AI tools for engineering productivity.

Location

• Based in Mumbai with flexibility to attend office when required.
• Availability outside working hours may be needed during critical support activities.
