Role

Experience :6+ years

As a Senior React Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain the user-facing parts of web applications, creating interactive, accessible, and visually appealing experiences. You'll take ownership of frontend architecture and system design decisions, ensuring the application performs reliably across devices and browsers while meeting high standards for usability, accessibility, and maintainability. You will also act as POD lead and supporting Junior react developer

Key responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of complex React-based user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Own frontend system design for key journeys, balancing performance, accessibility, security, scalability, and developer experience.

- Build reusable component libraries and patterns to drive consistency across products and teams.

- Improve existing codebases by debugging issues, enhancing layouts, and adding new functionality with high-quality engineering practices.

- Ensure cross-browser and responsive behaviour across desktop and mobile devices.

- Champion accessibility (e.g., semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA where appropriate) and inclusive design practices.

- Collaborate closely with product, UX/UI, backend engineers, and QA to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.

- Drive code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices.

- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and ways of working.

Skills & Experience

- Strong experience building production web applications with React and modern frontend tooling.

- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and strong proficiency in TypeScript.

- Solid fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3 (responsive layouts, modern CSS patterns), and browser APIs.

- Proven ability to debug and improve existing codebases (layout fixes, functional enhancements, defect resolution).

- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and system design (state management, component design, data fetching, caching, performance).

- Demonstrable experience delivering accessible and inclusive user interfaces (WCAG-aligned practices).

- Experience with testing approaches (unit/integration/e2e) and code quality practices.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across disciplines.
