Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Informatica, Snowflake, Enterprise Data Warehousing, and Technical Presales. The ideal candidate will design enterprise-scale data solutions, drive cloud modernization initiatives, lead presales engagements, mentor engineering teams, and deliver scalable, high-performance data platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Design and implement scalable Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL).

· Architect and develop enterprise ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Informatica MDM, and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

· Design optimized data models (Star & Snowflake Schema), develop complex SQL/PLSQL solutions, and ensure high-performance data integration and transformation.

· Design, implement, and optimize enterprise data solutions using Snowflake, including data migration, performance tuning, data sharing, security, and cloud-native architecture.

· Lead cloud migration and modernization projects from legacy/on-premises data platforms to Google Cloud and Snowflake.

· Build enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau, and perform advanced data analysis using Python.

· Define and implement Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Enterprise Data Management frameworks using Informatica and industry best practices.

· Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build, Terraform, ensuring automated deployments and release management for data engineering solutions.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architecture, estimate project effort, identify risks, and recommend optimal technology solutions.

· Lead the Data Centre of Excellence (CoE) by mentoring Data Engineers, identifying skill gaps, conducting technical enablement sessions, and driving cloud adoption across teams.

· Drive Technical Presales activities by collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams to prepare RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), effort estimations, technical presentations, proof of concepts (POCs), solution demonstrations, and customer workshops.

· Present enterprise data architecture, cloud transformation roadmaps, and solution strategies to customer leadership and executive stakeholders while articulating complex technical solutions in a business-friendly manner.

· Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery through Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 12–15 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Solution Architecture, or Business Intelligence.

· Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL).

· Mandatory expertise in Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Quality).

· Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture, data migration, optimization, security, and performance tuning.

· Expertise in SQL/PLSQL, Data Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, ETL/ELT, and Enterprise Data Warehousing concepts.

· Experience implementing Data Lakes, Lakehouse architectures, and Cloud Data Platforms.

· Good knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Quality, and Metadata Management.

· Experience with Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI and Python for analytics.

· Knowledge of DevOps, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Build, and Terraform.

· Proven experience in Technical Presales, including RFP/RFI responses, proposal writing, solution architecture, effort estimation, customer workshops, solution presentations, and POCs.

· Strong experience leading technical teams, Agile/Scrum projects, stakeholder management, and enterprise solution delivery.

· Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer/Cloud Architect, Informatica, or Snowflake certifications are preferred.
