RDSL Lead (AWS/Postgres) – Team of 2 Developers (3 Members Total)
Role Objective
Own the Reusable Digital Service Layer (RDSL) architecture and ensure scalable, secure, and reusable backend services built on cloud-native principles.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement headless microservices on AWS with high scalability and performance
Define data architecture using PostgreSQL, ensuring optimization, indexing, and reliability
Establish defensive coding standards to handle failures, retries, and edge cases
Own API lifecycle management (design, versioning, security, observability)
Lead cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
Ensure system observability, monitoring, and performance tuning
Guide team on reusable service patterns and domain-driven design
Must-Have Skills Applied
AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, etc.) for cloud-native deployments
PostgreSQL performance tuning & schema design
Strong expertise in OpenAPI, TMF/ODA standards
Hands-on with Helm, Ansible, Kubernetes
Exposure to telecom APIs (YANG, gNMI/gNOI) (important for domain alignment)
Ability to integrate AI-driven services into backend workflows
