Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, UG NX and GD&T, along with a background in the semiconductor industry. The candidate will be responsible for design, development, and validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor
- Create detailed 2D drawings with proper GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Work on design modifications, improvements, and validation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, quality)
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements
- Support prototype development and testing
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of designs
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor
- Good understanding of GD&T standards
- Experience in semiconductor equipment or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with sheet metal, fabrication, or precision components
- Exposure to cleanroom or semiconductor processes is an added advantage
