About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled RCS Specialist / Developer to design, develop, and manage next-generation messaging solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RCS (Rich Communication Services) and a strong understanding of telecom messaging ecosystems.
You will play a key role in building interactive, scalable, and engaging messaging experiences using RCS capabilities for customer engagement, notifications, and conversational commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement RCS-based messaging solutions for enterprise use cases
- Create and manage RCS message templates (promotional, transactional, conversational)
- Define and manage message delivery protocols including routing, delivery tracking, and fallback mechanisms (e.g., SMS fallback)
- Integrate RCS solutions with backend systems, CRM platforms, and APIs
- Develop rich messaging features such as carousels, suggested replies, rich cards, and media-rich messages
- Work with RCS Business Messaging (RBM) platforms
- Collaborate with telecom providers and messaging aggregators
- Ensure message delivery, analytics, tracking, and reporting
- Optimize messaging flows for performance and engagement
- Troubleshoot and resolve RCS-related issues
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of RCS protocol and ecosystem
- Experience with RCS template creation and approval workflows
- Knowledge of message routing, delivery reports, and fallback strategies
- Experience with RCS Business Messaging (RBM) platforms
- Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and XML
- Familiarity with telecom messaging systems (SMS, MMS, OTT)
- Experience with AWS cloud platform
- Experience with platforms such as Google RBM, Infobip, Twilio
Preferred Skills
- Experience in chatbot development and conversational flows
- Exposure to AI/ML-based conversational platforms
- Understanding of customer engagement platforms
- Experience with analytics and campaign tracking tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in messaging platforms or telecom domain
- Proven experience in RCS implementation is highly preferred
