Job Description

Perform outbound calls to insurance companies to follow up on unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims
Analyze claim denials and initiate appropriate actions such as reprocessing, corrections, or appeals
Check claim status via payor portals and calling, ensuring accurate documentation of all interactions
Work on AR aging reports and prioritize high-value or time-sensitive accounts
Resolve issues related to claim submission, coding errors, eligibility, and authorization gaps
Initiate appeals and resubmissions with proper documentation and justification
Collaborate with internal teams (billing, coding, front-end) to resolve discrepancies
Maintain detailed and accurate notes in EMR/EHR systems for all follow-ups
Meet daily productivity targets (calls, claims worked) and quality benchmarks
Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational standards
