Position Summary
Level: Assistant Manager
As an experienced Assistant Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.
Work you'll do:
- Reports to Deputy manager
- Roll-up span: Approx 50 practitioners
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Effective delegation and resource allocation.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, clients, and other departments
- Coaching and mentoring team members.
- Identifying training needs and facilitating professional development
- Promoting an inclusive work environment
- Deliver value-driven transition and transformation of RCM processes using advanced tools & technology
- Simplify and differentiate delivery with consistent methods / tools with focus on gaining operational efficiencies & improving SLAs/key metrics
- Apply forward thinking, best practices and fresh insights to deliver on key metrics / SLAs and to deliver value to clients
- Strategically look for opportunities to grow our footprint at our clients
- Acts as a program / account level manager and Finance Operations expert to the client
- Monitor engagement economics, resourcing and delivery of project against Master transition plan
- Responsible for executive leadership reporting
- Ensures timely and accurate responses to audit queries and information requests
- Drives process standardization and improvements / transformation
- Acts as a change champion and drives change management for transformational initiatives
- Understanding of financial principles and practices related to revenue cycle management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

With your focus on innovation and measurable value, you will empower clients to achieve strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace by addressing core business challenges and opportunities across industries.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 10 yrs of experience on RCM projects
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- In-depth understanding of the entire revenue cycle process, including patient registration, charge capture, coding, billing, claims submission, payment posting, and collections.
- Expertise in managing denials, underpayments, and appeals processes
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to billing, coding, and reimbursement (e.g., HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid).
- Ability to ensure that revenue cycle processes adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in analysing revenue cycle data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Ability to generate and interpret reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accounts receivable aging, collection rates, and denial rates
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Domain expertise in Claims Management, patient Financial services
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field;.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, Certified Professional Coder) are a plus
Location:
Shift Timings:
- 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST or 6PM to 3 AM IST as per business requirements
