About Retail Credit
The Retail Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all retail products of the Bank. Would be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes in the Region.
AbouttheRole
Regional Credit Manager will be a team leader role wherein all Area Credit Managers would be reporting. Core job will be to ensure smoot functioning of credit Appraisal activities undertaken by Credit Manager & ACMs. Responsible for building a quality portfolio. Ensure underwriting adherence to the processes designed by the bank
Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth functioning of the Region by meeting required productivity norms within the desired Turn Around Time as defined by the Bank Monitoring WIP. Ensure the quality of proposals and credit appraisal to minimize delinquency and build portfolio of expected quality Ensure timely completion of key deliverables, audit queries and adherence to the retail policy. Gather market intelligence with other financial institutions and entities to understand the market dynamics and risk trends, and to use necessary information for taking credit decisions Manage the relationship with various functions and departments within the bank to ensure collaboration and alignment to organizational objectives Driving Process improvements for increase in efficiency level and participation in pilot runs/testing of projects. Support to new locations,products. Stakeholder management & Vendor Management. Nurturing Credit team & Manage attrition
Qualifications
Graduate / Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) from good institute Experience in retail credit with team handling.
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess: Knowledge of credit, industry and product trends Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language Team handling experience Ability to handle Pressure and meet deadlines.
