About Rural Credit
Rural Lending is a part of Retail Credit and caters to all financial needs of the Rural Clientele including Farming community, Farm Mechanization ie Tractor & Harvestor, Traders & Processors mostly based out of Rural & Semi Urban areas along with the credit needs of the industries dependent on the Agriculture /allied activities and MSME businesses based in rural areas, and Micro Finance, which is Lending to economically active poor Women under Joint Liability Group.
AbouttheRole
The Central Credit Underwriter is responsible for underwriting loan application sourced from Business Correspondences and manages QC team (off roll staff) who would be managing QC activity for MFI applications sourced through Direct lending model. Central Credit underwriter is also responsible for managing other critical activities of Collection Reconciliation, Insurance enrolment & Claim settlement for MFI customers, operational activities & new project developments.
Key Responsibilities

Sanctioning applications sourced by BC channel with in specified approval rate

Monitor of QC activity for the applications sourced by Direct channel

Providing credit decisions with in stipulated TAT

Doing reconciliation for the collections reported from both BC & Direct channels

GL a/c monitoring & Reconciliation

Loan document scrutiny & Storage

Insurance enrollment & Claim settlement processing

Managing operational activities related to Loan a/c write-off, manual a/c opening & manual

Qualifications

Graduation/ Post- Graduation from a recognized institute

Experience in conducting Credit appraisal/Underwriting/Loan sanctioning

Role Proficiencies:

For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:

Knowledge of Microfinance Product & Policy guidelines

Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms

Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language

Ability to do frequent travel & Data analysis and MIS Management
