| Rural Lending is a part of Retail Credit and caters to all financial needs of the Rural Clientele including Farming community, Farm Mechanization ie Tractor & Harvestor, Traders & Processors mostly based out of Rural & Semi Urban areas along with the credit needs of the industries dependent on the Agriculture /allied activities and MSME businesses based in rural areas, and Micro Finance, which is Lending to economically active poor Women under Joint Liability Group. | |||||
| AbouttheRole | |||||
| The Central Underwriting Manager manages the credit activities and related processes of the Rural verticals. Is responsible for smooth functioning of the processes designed by the dept / bank, support stake holders for CO related activities. Initiating new projects, driving executions across PAN India. Handling Process improvements, co-ordinations across verticals. | |||||
| Key Responsibilities | |||||
Review of the credit proposals by providing quick insight as a part of the sanctioning authority and by ensuring adherence to the standard process Managing the Team and ensuring adherence to defined Turn Around Time & Audit compliances Develop new processes / improve existing process and ensure proper SOP documentations. Ensure proper support system is provided to all the verticals under the Rural Credit for smooth processing of loans and Training / enabling to comply with internal / regulatory compliances Manage the relationship with various functions and departments within the bank to ensure collaboration and alignment to organizational objectives | |||||
| Qualifications Desired | |||||
| Graduation/ Post- Graduation / Post Graduate in Agri business Management (MBA/ CA preferred) from a recognized institute. | |||||
| Role Proficiencies: | |||||
Knowledge of credit, preferably Farmer Funding / MSME and product trends and analytical knowledge Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms Ability of multitasking and Good communication skills |
