Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Regional Strategy

  • Define, implement, and drive regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Expand business presence across multiple cities/territories with focus on premium projects.
  • Ensure YOY growth in volumes, profitability, and client base.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Area Business Managers (ABMs), Business Managers, and sales executives.
  • Set performance goals, review progress, and ensure achievement of KPIs across the region.
  • Provide coaching and support to improve productivity, capability, and customer engagement.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong long-term relationships with architects, consultants, developers, dealers, and institutional clients.
  • Drive architect/dealer/fabricator engagement programs and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with strategic clients.

Project & Operations Oversight

  • Monitor project pipeline across the region to ensure timely order conversion and execution.
  • Coordinate with design, technical, and operations teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Enforce credit discipline, adherence to SOPs, and cost-efficient operations.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor activities, market shifts, and industry opportunities.
  • Provide regular insights and business forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Ensure accurate reporting through CRM tools and dashboards.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Architecture or related field. MBA preferred.

12+ years in sales/business development with at least 5+ years in team handling roles, preferably in building materials, fenestration, interiors, or architectural products.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to drive regional growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
