About the Role
The Product Manager Lockers oversees the end-to-end management of the bank's locker services. This includes designing customer-centric solutions, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations, optimizing operational processes, and driving product growth. The role involves close coordination with IT, Operations, Branch Banking, and Legal teams to enhance service delivery, resolve issues, and improve customer experience. Strategic thinking, regulatory awareness, and stakeholder management are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
.Design and enhance product offerings aligned with customer needs and regulatory guidelines.
.Develop seamless onboarding and allocation processes for locker customers.
.Conduct competition mapping and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Operations & Compliance
.Ensure locker operations comply with RBI regulations and internal audit standards.
.Manage locker distribution across branches and monitor utilization metrics.
.Coordinate regulatory reporting and documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement
.Collaborate with IT, Operations, Treasury, Marketing, and Branch Banking teams.
.Provide backend support and training to branch staff for locker-related queries and processes.
Customer Experience & Campaigns
.Drive campaigns to promote locker services.
.Resolve customer and branch-level issues efficiently.
.Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
Technology & Testing
.Work with IT teams for system enhancements, testing, and deployments related to locker management.
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
.Graduation / Post-Graduation (MBA-Marketing preferred) from a recognized institute
.8-10 years of experience in the BFSI sector
Role Proficiencies:
.Experience in managing product lifecycle: ideation, development, launch, and enhancement.
.Understanding of locker services and related banking operations.
.Familiarity with RBI guidelines on locker services.
.Ability to ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
.Proficiency in data analysis to monitor utilization and performance.
.Ability to identify trends and develop strategies for product growth.
.Focus on improving customer experience and resolving service issues.
.Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
.Understanding of banking systems and software.
