NPS is National Pension System, a retirement solution to be offered to various sectors (namely - Corporate, Government, and All citizen model) as defined by the regulator PFRDA.
Axis Bank is present across all these sectors and onboard a team to cater to the requirement for NPS.
Pension Funds are regulated by PFRDA and has overall AUM of more than Rs. 10 lakhs of crores which is further expected to grow at 25% year on year.
Axis Pension Fund is the fastest Private sector PFM company and aims to seize this opportunity and acquire a decent market share across all the sectors, thereby becoming the most preferred pension fund manager under NPS.
About the Role:
Regional Head - Government NPS Channel - This is senior role created with the approach to manage business of specific Region of Government Channel. Experience required is 10-15 years in hard core direct sales with experience of managing large team members and ensuring productivity from each RM.
.Responsible for achieving NPS targets - AUM and market share of Axis Pension Fund in Government Sector for his respective cluster / state
.Connect and meet Nodal Officers / Key Decision Makers/ Influencers in the government offices along with the channel partners & team members to onboard their new employees and shift the existing employees under NPS from competition to Axis PFM
.Engage and nurture the relationship with channel partners (Government Banking, Corporate Salary, Branch Banking, etc. in Axis Bank) to drive business targets
.Create desired sales behavior in the team by ensuring DSR (Daily Sales Reporting) from the State Head / KAMs / BDMs/ BDEs.
.Offer guidance & training for business to his / her team and attend joint calls wherever required and assist them in handling objections & closing the deals
.Review team's progress against plan and guide them to succeed and grow in their careers
.Ensure quality and persistency of business and cross sell products required for retirement planning like Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Term Deposits etc.
Qualifications
.Graduate / Postgraduate in Business and Finance

.Good understanding of Government Sector
.Highly skilled in Channel Management / Relationship Management
.Excellent in Business planning, Analytical skills, People management skills, effective communication skills, etc.
.Top notch interpersonal skills and ability to hold conversation at Senior Official levels in Government offices ability to articulate complex thoughts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
.Self - motivated, proactive target driven with a proven track record in sales
.Proficient knowledge of MS Office
