Cureskin is a dermatology brand offering personalised treatments for skin and hair-fall concerns
through its mobile app and has already catered to over 17 lakh customers across India.
Cureskin leverages AI to analyse photos and works with its in-house team of dermatologists to
provide treatments delivered directly to customers homes. This includes its own branded
products (Rx + Non-Rx), regular doctor supervision, root-cause guidance to effectively address
concerns and ensure optimal outcomes.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced ingredients / raw materials procurement
specialist to support and execute procurement strategies of the brand to support businesses
and functions. This position is pivotal in planning, sourcing and managing micro ingredients
procurement and coordination across multiple functions and geographies with zero wastage.
This role will be responsible for supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, managing
procurement processes, and ensuring efficient and ethical sourcing of raw materials. Keep
track of inventory at multiple co-manufacturer site, plan inventory digestion as per forecast
within shelf life. Conduct periodic audits at site to validate, storage conditions and COAs claims.
Day-to day tasks will include analysing market trends, developing purchase strategies, and
ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
Identify and onboard reliable suppliers for cosmetic, drugs and skincare raw
materials
Source active ingredients, functional ingredients, and natural extracts aligned
with brand philosophy [high efficacy]
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times and contracts with suppliers
Maintain strong long-term supplier relationships and performance metrics
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all raw materials meet cosmetic regulatory standards (INCI, COA, MSDS,
allergen statements, etc.)
Coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams for documentation and audits
Support supplier qualification, audits, and risk assessments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with R&D/formulation and packaging teams during new product
development
Support alternate procurement for reformulations or supply disruptions
Align procurement strategies with production planning and inventory needs
Cost & Supply Optimization
Monitor raw material costs, market trends, and availability
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays
Build a relationship with the Principal, along with local channel partners
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain updated supplier databases and sourcing records
Track purchase orders, lead times, and inventory levels at the co-manufacturer
Prepare sourcing reports and supplier evaluations as needed
Zero wastages and full utilisation of raw materials within shelf life
Inventory audits at the co-manufacturer site
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Category, Quality, Packaging and Product development
teams to understand the product's roadmap and forecast.
Work closely with co-manufacturers and get the work done smoothly.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Supply Chain,
or related field
56+ years of experience in raw material procurement for cosmetics, personal
care, or FMCG
Strong knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and suppliers
Familiarity with cosmetic regulations (EU, US FDA, ISO, etc.) is a plus
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities
Nice to Have:
Experience sourcing natural, organic, or sustainable ingredients
Exposure to international suppliers and imports
Experience working with skincare or dermatology-focused brands
