Job Description:
Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Raw Material Associate Specialist.
The job holder will obtain raw material SDSs and supporting documentation from vendors for the Polyurethanes and Performance Products businesses and is responsible for executing the Management of Change (MOC) process, completing impact assessments, and releasing finished product SDSs for the assigned portfolio.
Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, site EHS, and within PSRC team to maintain and continuously update the Huntsman raw material library database for all active raw materials used across the Polyurethanes and Performance Products businesses.
This a position will be based in Mumbai, India.
As aRaw Material Associate Specialist, you will:
Responsible for obtaining the raw material SDS and required documents from vendors.
Perform in-depth analysis of supplier SDSs and engage suppliers to correct any inaccuracies
Compare GAIA data with supplier SDSs, update GAIA with new validated information, and communicate changes to the Raw Material Team Lead and PSS Managers.
Execute established regulatory compliance, hazard communication, and dangerous goods requirements in accordance with standard procedures.
Ensure the Management of Change (MOC) process is implemented for significant changes, conduct impact assessments, and support the timely release of finished product SDSs.
Collaborate with site EHS teams to obtain updated active raw material lists and maintain the Huntsman internal raw material database.
Track expired SDSs and coordinate with vendors to obtain the latest approved versions.
Monitor upcoming and changing regulations, coordinate with the PSRC regulatory owner, and engage vendors to secure updated SDSs.
What skills and experiences are we looking for
Bachelors degree in science / engineering with 3 years of working experience
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP-EHS systems or databases
Excellent excel skills
Good communication skills, fluency in English essential
Effective verbal and written communication with strong stakeholder collaboration
Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, changing work environment
Strong achievement orientation and accountability
Alignment with corporate principles and ethical standards
Personal ownership, continuous self‑development, and team effectiveness
