Rating/Senior Rating Analyst

• Carry out credit analysis, counter party assessments of customers and supply chain partners of large corporates involving rigorous credit and counterparty risk analysis encompassing industry / business research and financial analysis of various corporates.
• Analyse Company s financial performance which include;
• Past financial and business performance & Benchmark these against peers performance
• Project future performance of the company
• Conducting management discussions with client and prepare reports that cogently capture the information available with respect to the credit, highlighting key risks and grading parameters along with relevant analytical observations, trends, and queries for the client, information gaps, etc.
• Ensure adherence to set processes and timelines
• Maintain a high level of data and analytical quality in report preparation
• Ability to work across SME products like Real estate gradings, Education Gradings, Micro-finance institutions grading and Institutional SME portfolio
• Team Management; Ability to manage team and ensure quality review and delivery of assignments as per required timelines
• Stakeholder Management;
• Coordinating with the clients on various deliverables
• Be fully aware of the business deliverables and seek to continuously increase value proposition through regular dialogue and improvements in process and analytical quality
• Complete ownership of client accounts. Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the accounts and undertaking regular liaison with client management and BD teams to gauge feedback and satisfaction.

Candidate profile

• Background in credit analysis of small and mid-corporates, Real estate project finance etc.
• Work experience in Big 4 accounting firms (KPMG, E&Y etc), D&B or other credit rating agencies
• Independent and decisive mindset
• Should be capable of multi-tasking and handling projects with deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel and power point skills
• Team management

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA Finance
• Additional degree like CFA/FRM etc would be preferred
• Knowledge of technology/tools like python, Power BI, Tableau would be added advantage
