RA Billing Engineer: Can support measurement, compile executed and BOQ quantities, enter previous / current / cumulative data, assemble supporting documents, maintain the bill register and coordinate with contractors — accurately, with supporting records, and escalating every discrepancy. The role supports bill preparation; it does not verify, certify or approve bills or process unapproved variations.

Role Responsibilities

Verify the assigned BOQ item reference, description, unit and contract quantity before compiling billing quantities.

 Support site and joint measurement; record measurements with location, item, drawing reference and calculation.

 Compile executed quantities and track them against the BOQ.

 Enter previous certified quantities, current quantities and compute cumulative quantities.

 Assemble complete supporting documents (measurement sheet, JMR, drawings, calculations).

 Maintain the bill register accurately and preserve records with full traceability.

 Perform basic reconciliation against the previous certified bill; check for duplicate quantities.

Coordinate with contractors on measurement data, documents and queries (data level).

 Escalate measurement mismatches, BOQ overruns, duplicate quantities, wrong rates and missing records.

Never bill unsupported work, duplicate certified quantities, fabricate measurements or conceal discrepancies.
