LanceSoft Technologies is seeking an experienced RAN Performance Optimization Engineer to monitor, analyze, and enhance Radio Access Network (RAN) performance across 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G NR technologies. The role involves performance optimization, troubleshooting, and automation to ensure optimal network efficiency and quality of service (QoS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve issues related to RAN KPIs, including throughput, latency, call drops, handovers, and signal quality.
- Utilize tools like OSS, NetAct, ENM, and other vendor-specific platforms to collect and evaluate network performance data.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for performance degradation and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct drive tests, call flow analysis, and parameter audits to optimize coverage and capacity.
- Optimize features such as carrier aggregation, MIMO, VoLTE, and VoNR for LTE and 5G networks.
- Collaborate with RF planning teams and ORAN vendors for integration, trials, and First Office Applications (FOAs).
- Utilize automation and scripting (Python, SQL) for data collection, reporting, and efficiency improvements.
- Support optimization efforts for high-priority locations such as urban centers, stadiums, and business districts.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports on network performance, optimization activities, and parameter changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in RAN technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G NR) and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring & analysis tools:
- Samsung, Mavenir, Ericsson ENM, Nokia NetAct, Huawei U2020
- TEMS, Actix, Q-GIS, Drive Test tools, NetAct, ENM, Wireshark, NEMO
- Strong understanding of LTE/5G features: CQI, SINR, handovers, carrier aggregation.
- Familiarity with 5G ORAN, virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) for network performance analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting for automation.
- Strong analytical skills for network troubleshooting, RCA, and traffic forecasting.

Educational & Experience Requirements:
