Radiology Typist

Role Description The Radiology Typist will provide accurate and timely typing support for radiology reports and related clinical documentation. Day-to-day tasks include transcribing radiology findings from dictation or audio files, formatting reports according to hospital standards, and ensuring error-free, clear documentation for medical teams. The role involves maintaining organized records, coordinating with radiologists and other clinical staff for clarifications, and using hospital information systems and standard office software.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Typing skills, with a focus on speed and accuracy in medical report transcription.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication abilities for coordinating with radiologists, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Candidates should possess good Computer Literacy, including proficiency with word processing software and hospital information systems.
• Candidates should ideally have prior experience of working as a Typist/Medical Transcriptionist in a hospital, diagnostic center, or medical office, especially in radiology .
