Title: Radiology Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician with experience in X-ray and CT imaging and Ultrasound to perform high-quality diagnostic procedures in a multispecialty hospital. The role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting radiologists in accurate diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray , CT scans & Ultrasound.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment (X-ray and CT machines).
- Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Assist radiologists during contrast studies and CT-guided procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures, especially in contrast imaging.
- Maintain proper documentation and imaging records.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology.
- Certification from recognized institution (AERB compliance preferred in India).
- 1–3 years of experience in X-ray and CT imaging.
- Knowledge of radiation physics and safety protocols.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in X-ray and CT imaging techniques.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and positioning.
- Attention to detail and image quality.
- Good communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Work Environment
- Multispecialty hospital radiology department.
- Rotational shifts, including emergency/night duties.
Key Procedures Exposure (Preferred)
- Routine and portable X-rays
- CT scans (plain and contrast)
- Trauma and emergency imaging
- CT-guided procedures (basic assistance)
