Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based in Bengaluru. The Radiologist will interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities, to support accurate clinical decision-making. Responsibilities include preparing detailed and timely radiology reports, consulting with referring physicians, and recommending further imaging or follow-up when appropriate. The role also involves performing and supervising specialized imaging procedures, contributing to quality assurance and safety protocols, and staying current with advances in radiology and imaging technologies. The Radiologist will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high standards of patient care and imaging accuracy.
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Medicine with appropriate medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Radiology and Medical Imaging, including interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies.
- Experience or training in Nuclear Medicine for diagnostic and, where applicable, therapeutic procedures.
- Competence in Mammography and breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic assessments.
- Valid medical license/registration to practice as a Radiologist, with compliance to local regulatory requirements.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to provide clear, concise, and timely reports.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, continuous learning, and familiarity with radiation safety standards.
