We are hiring an experienced RF Indoor Planning Engineer to join Rakuten at its Indore office. This role focuses on designing and optimizing indoor wireless networks, including DAS and Small Cell deployments, supporting cutting-edge LTE and 5G technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform indoor RF planning and design for DAS and Small Cell deployments
- Design and upload indoor RF plans using iBWAVE and RANPLAN (Mandatory)
- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Site Survey Reports
- Validate site survey data and create Bill of Materials (BoM)
- Collaborate with site acquisition, civil, and installation teams
- Analyze and optimize indoor RF models using walk-test and drive-test tools (TEMS/NEMO)
- Recommend antenna placement, cable routing, and power budget estimation
- Ensure optimal LTE & 5G NR indoor coverage and performance
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with iBWAVE and RANPLAN(both are mandatory)
- Strong expertise in Indoor RF Planning, DAS, and Small Cell deployments
- Solid understanding of LTE, 5G NR, and RF propagation
- Experience with tools like ATOLL, TEMS, NEMO
- Exposure to vendors/operators such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, or CommScope
- Understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi integration with cellular networks
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in end-to-end indoor RF design (planning + validation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
