Job Title:Senior Member of Technical Staff - Test
Location:Hyderabad (Hybrid work)

The job
We are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff (Testing) to drive quality engineering for Industrial Automation software products, including applications dealing with 3D models, plant layouts, and engineering workflows (e.g., AVEVA-like products). This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in test automation, strong domain understanding of industrial/engineering software, proficiency in C# and Java, and solid experience in API test automation.
Key responsibilities
Own and drive in In-Sprint test activities & quality strategy for industrial automation product in the assigned Scrum team
Must have to work on multi tasks between Test automation & manual test activities
Define test automation strategy aligned with long-term product roadmap
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for testing complex engineering and visualization-heavy applications
Design, build, and maintain scalable, maintainable automation frameworks using C# and/or Java
Automate functional, regression, and integration testing for desktop, web, and cloud-based product components
Handle automation challenges related to large datasets having 3D rendering, and performance-sensitive workflows
Continuously improve automation reliability, execution speed, and coverage
API & Backend Automation
Nice to Have - Develop and maintain API automation suites for backend services . To Validate REST APIs including data integrity, authentication, authorization, and error scenarios
Ensure end-to-end product workflows by combining API and UI automation
Industrial Automation Domain Expertise
Apply deep understanding of industrial automation, plant engineering, and asset lifecycle workflows
Collaborate closely with product management and domain experts to ensure product quality matches real-world industrial use cases
Collaboration & Mentorship
Work closely with product Test, product development, architecture, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced product environment
Mentor automation and test engineers, raising overall technical bar
Essential requirements
At least 8-10 years of experience in software testing with at least 5+ years of experience ,strong emphasis on test automation
Strong test automation scripting experience in C# and Java
Proven experience designing test automation frameworks from scratch in a product environment
Solid experience in API test automation
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile product development concepts
Experience working in Agile software development such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
Experience testing Industrial Automation, Engineering, CAD/CAE, Digital Twin, or Visualization-heavy products
Ability to translate domain complexity into effective test strategies

Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams

PSR testing experience
Exposure to cloud-based industrial platforms

Hybrid working
