R&D SENIOR HARDWARE DESIGNER

Requirements
Product Development and Leadership
Design and develop electronic hardware systems, including schematic capture,
PCB layout, and component selection.
Ensure designs meet performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability
requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and research to evaluate new technologies,
components, and design approaches.
Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product
managers to define and develop hardware requirements and specifications.
Work closely with teams to integrate hardware with software and mechanical
components.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to select and source
components.
Manage component obsolescence, resolve technical issues, and support mass
manufacturing of at least 5,000 units.
External Relations and Partnerships
Perform Signal Integrity (SI) analysis, Power Distribution Network (PDN)
analysis, and Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility
(EMI/EMC) analysis.
Conduct thorough design analysis, simulation, and validation to meet
industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsiblities
Design solutions for IoT devices, including architecture and hardware prototype
development.
Experience in developing IoT products from scratch and working with System on
Modules (SOM) such as Quectel, Neoway, and SIMCOM.
Project Management and Resource Allocation
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on cost reduction, design
optimization, and increased efficiency.
Technical Expertise and Market Awareness
Stay informed on the latest market trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive
landscape within the electronics industry to identify new opportunities for product
innovation.
Team Management and Development
Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics
Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in hardware design with expertise in digital
and analog circuit design.
Hands-on experience with IoT product development and SOM
modules.
Programming Proficiency
Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools such as OrCAD, Allegro, PADS
Layout, Dx Designer, Hyperlynx, CAM350, GC Preview, and ADS
Strong proficiency in hardware architecture and design, R&D, and proofof-concept development.
System Understanding
Basic understanding of firmware and firmware-level debugging.
Deep understanding of certification standards and regulatory
requirements.
Ideal
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform
detailed design analysis and testing.
Experience with mass manufacturing and high-volume
production.
