As a part of this function, the Cloud Unified Engineering team of R&D Technology and Execution Test, the test engineer will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of AVEVA Software Product deliveries to customers.

We are looking for a Test Engineer with skills to design, write and execute functional, integration, security and performance tests across the range of Engineering Design Software Products. This will include manual and automated testing to help us by taking full responsibility for their tests by proactively identify improvements and enhancements to existing test suites. Also, by executing some part of manula testing. The test team will be part of the product development team and reports into Development manager.

You will collaborate with product owner, developers, system test team and Cloud DevOps teams as part of the day to day work.

In this role you will:

  • Automation test using C# using custom frameworks / SDKs developed by AVEVA or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Have strong programming skills in C# and PowerShell Script and can debug.
  • Come with good knowledge on testing fundamentals like test case design techniques, test cases writing with quantifying test coverage, test permutations & exploratory test. Expect some part of manual testing experience in the career.
  • Have experience in using any Version Control tools like GIT, ClearCase.
  • Have exposure to CI tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Team-city; Knowledge on DevOps.
  • Have ability to multitask between multiple concurrent projects & adapt to project changes
  • Clearly & effectively communicate with the product development team to share and clarify issues.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Understanding of various resources of Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, DynamoDB, API GateWay, Lambda etc.
  • Software Testing Certifications like ISTQB/ISEB
  • Manual, Automation testing in engineering product domain
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience of Performance testing, load, Interface/integration testing, stress, soak, and security.

Hands on experience of AVEVA or related products is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:


Any Certification in AWS like AWS Certificed Developer Associate or equivalent
