Job Description

  • Global Product Development: Drive the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process, from concept ideation to global commercial launch.
  • Thermal System Design: Lead the technical development of chiller platforms (Scroll, Screw, Centrifugal), focusing on component integration like compressors, heat exchangers (flooded and DX type), economizers and VFD.
  • Innovation & Strategy: Develop product roadmaps that incorporate emerging technologies such as liquid cooling, immersion cooling, and AI-driven energy management.
  • Efficiency & Compliance: Optimize product performance for energy efficiency (PUE) and ensure all designs meet global standards such as AHRI 550/551, ISO, and BEE labelling.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and global sales to ensure scalability and manufacturability.

The Successful Applicant

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical / Thermal / Electrical / Refrigeration advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in R&D within cooling, chillers, HVAC or thermal management systems
  • Proven exposure to data centre cooling technologies (chillers, liquid cooling, precision cooling, heat rejection systems)
  • Strong background in system‑level engineering and product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated experience leading and scaling large, multi‑disciplinary R&D teams
  • Experience working with global engineering teams and international standards
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on technical mindset
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and Executive Communication skills
