Our Performance Skincare brand Melblok makes Restorative Skin Care Powered by Science. Melblok's products are high-performance, problem-solving, and both effective and safe. We use bio-appropriate, clean ingredients, and materials that are all-natural, sustainable, and biodegradable.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research and analysis in cosmetic chemistry and market trends.
- Develop and formulate new cosmetic products in alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure products meet consumer needs and align with market demands.
- Perform quality checks on new and existing products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare product specifications and technical documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Maintain an organized database of formulations and product performance data.
- Assist in product testing and collect user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Keep abreast of advancements in cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
- Engage with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials for product development.
- Prepare reports on product efficacy and trends to inform decision-making.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on project goals and timelines.
- Support the R&D team with projects from conception to launch.
- Implement sustainable practices in product development and research initiatives.
- Contribute innovative ideas for new products or improvements in existing products.
- Assist in Production technology transfer & other manufacturing task.
- Assist in Audit & quality check of 3rd party manufactures as required by the company from time to time.
Qualifications
Must have secured 80% or above in Sr Secondary School.
- Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in R&D within the cosmetic industry.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for cosmetic products.
- Experience with product testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in cosmetic ingredients and technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
- Proficient in using research and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflow.

Work Experience
Experience in cosmetics, pharma or health/beauty care industry preferred.

Hours: 5 days work week. Weekly off on sat & sun, except during audits, and as required by the company.
Location: Gurgaon or willing to Relocate to Gurgaon.
Starting date: immediate
Must be willing to Re-Locate within 15mins of the factory walking distance.
Note: This is a growth position. As the company is growing, the successful candidate will get a chance to rapidly progress into higher roles.
