Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site R&D Design Engineer role located in Mumbai. The R&D Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing plastic components and assemblies for medical devices and appliances using SolidWorks.

Role & responsibilities :

• As a Mechanical/Mechatronics engineer, you will work on end-to-end design of one or more products, working with a cross-functional team to achieve the project goals.
• You will be designing plastic and metal components and assembly's of homecare medical equipment's like nebulizrs, massagers, blood pressure meters etc.
• You will be responsible for detailed engineering design, risk and tolerance analysis, and ensuring the design is manufacturable.
• You will also be responsible for testing of the designed products and parts
• You will also work closely with external manufacturing vendors during the design, assembly and testing stages to debug issues and drive continuous improvements.
• You should be comfortable with high levels of ambiguity, and working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Thorough hands on Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS / Fusion360
• Experience in Electro Mechanical New Product Design , Consumer appliances Design will be added advantage
• Detail Knowledge of Plastics part design
• Basics of Molds and tool design
• Detail knowledge of Mechanical parts , Jigs Fixtures design

UG:B.Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization PG: M.Tech
