Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an R&D Chef specializing in Telugu Cuisines, based in Hyderabad. The R&D Chef will lead efforts in researching, developing, and curating authentic and innovative Telugu cuisine offerings for the Excellence Centre and Restaurant. Daily tasks include creating and testing new recipes, refining existing dishes, maintaining traditional flavors while modernizing presentation styles, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and ensuring consistency in food preparation. Collaboration with culinary teams, menu planning, and contributing to high-quality food standards are core parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Telugu Cuisines with extensive knowledge of traditional and regional cooking techniques, recipes, and ingredients
- Culinary creativity, recipe development, and food innovation skills
- Attention to detail, quality assurance, and consistency in food preparation
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams
- Experience with food safety and hygiene standards, and kitchen management skills
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in an R&D Chef or similar role, especially in Indian regional cuisines, is advantageous
