Job Description

The R&M Consultancy Manager will oversee the successful execution of all Repair & Maintenance (R&M) consultancy projects, as well as other consultancy projects (ESP, BOP, CHP) in Thermal Power Plants. The role requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to manage client relationships, regulatory interactions, and the overall profitability of the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage R&M consultancy and other related projects for Thermal Power Plants, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Represent TUV-SUD in all technical discussions with customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Oversee the R&M Consultancy business, including Profit & Loss management for the division.
  • Liaise with customers and electricity regulatory bodies like CEA for technical and commercial matters.
  • Prepare bankable Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), cost-benefit analyses, and provide actionable insights for clients.
  • Serve as the business analyst for the division, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and shareholder expectations.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities to grow the R&M consultancy business unit.
  • Create detailed, accurate reports to support R&M consultancy operations and decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in R&M consultancy for Thermal Power Plants.
  • Proven experience in preparing bankable DPRs and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
  • Strong understanding of ESP, BOP, and CHP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience liaising with regulatory bodies.
  • Business acumen with the ability to manage P&L and drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning for the consultancy business unit.
  • Exceptional report-writing skills for technical and business-related documents.
