R&D Intern - Copper Nanomaterials

Location: Peenya, Bangalore (On-site)

Duration: 36 months (Full time based on performance)

Stipend: 10k/Month

Eligibility: Master's or Undergrad students with a background in Nanomaterials, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.

Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated research interns to join our R&D team for hands-on work in metal nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, and application development. The internship will involve experimental work in wet chemistry, materials science, and application testing across diverse domains (e.g., lubricants, coatings, catalysis, electronics).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the synthesis of metal nanoparticles from recovered sources.
• Assist in scale-up studies.
• Perform analysis on data generated out of characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, UV-Vis, etc.
• Support formulation and testing of nanoparticle-based applications (e.g., conductive inks, antimicrobial coatings, functional additives)
• Document procedures, observations, and data meticulously
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to internal technical reports
• Collaborate with other researchers and contribute to lab safety and protocol adherence.

Good to have:

• Prior lab experience in nanoparticle synthesis or materials characterization
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation and chemical safety protocols
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and curious mindset
• Bonus: Experience working with recovered/recycled materials or green chemistry
