- Perform market research to determine what types of products might be successful among consumers, research product ideas to determine their viability, and research how existing products are performing.
- Project development procedures from cradle to full scale industrial manufacturing stage; includes planning, simulations & selection, sample ordering & approval, preparing BOMs, material tracking, design release, KPIs updates, prototype assembly & testing, etc.
- Investigate and design new process procedures with the aim of reducing material and labor costs, increasing production up-time and improve quality.
- Overseeing the engineering of product prototypes.
- Testing prototype products for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity.
- Overseeing the production process & resolving product issues.
- Existing Products route cause analysis from Production pointed view and necessary process implementations.
