Position Title: Quoting Manager Telecom

Role Overview: -
The
Quoting Manager Telecom will lead and manage the quotation lifecycle for global telecom services, including data connectivity, lastmile access, managed services, cloud connectivity, and network transformation solutions.
This role ensures accurate, competitive, and timely quotes by collaborating with Solution Architects, Product, Engineering, Sourcing/Vendors, Pricing, and Sales teams.
The manager will be responsible for standardizing quoting processes, improving turnaround time (TAT), ensuring commercial accuracy, and driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecom, IT, or related field.
- 12-15 years of experience in telecom pre-sales/quoting/commercial roles/Delivery/Order management.
- Experience managing a quoting or pre-sales operations team is preferred.
Required Skills Experience
Technical Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of telecom technologies: MPLS, Internet Access, Ethernet, SDWAN, VPN, SIP/Voice, Cloud Interconnects .
- Exposure to global telecom providers and lastmile vendor ecosystem (North America, Europe, APAC).
- Experience with quoting tools: Salesforce CPQ, Siebel, ServiceNow, Atlas, or internal CPQ tools.
Analytical Commercial Skills
- Strong grasp of pricing models, cost structures, margins, taxation, and risk assessments.
- Ability to read network maps, service availability tools, and vendor coverage matrices.
Leadership Process Skills
- Experience in managing multilocation quotation teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to improve processes and drive automation/AI adoption.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Strong problem solving and decision making.
