The Global Manager– Quotation & Pricing Management (QPM) is responsible for building and leading Molex's global Commercial Excellence capability in quotations, pricing, and cost governance. This role drives stronger supplier outcomes and business performance through robust pricing discipline, advanced cost modeling, and digital enablement across the end-to-end RFQ, pricing, and lead-time landscape. Based in Bangalore, this role operates with global scope and partners closely with Procurement, NPD, IT, and Business stakeholders to deliver sustainable value.
Our Team
This role is part of the Global Procurement organization within Molex, operating as a core element of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE). The QPM team works at the intersection of sourcing, NPD, cost engineering, analytics, and digital platforms to support Molex's global businesses with scalable, data-driven quotation and pricing capabilities
What You Will Do
- Build and lead a global Quotation and Pricing Management (QPM) team that delivers consistent, high-quality quotation, pricing, and lead-time outcomes across regions and material groups.
- Foster a Performance-Based Management (PBM) culture, developing accountable teams where leaders act as coaches and mentors with a strong contribution mindset.
- Own and drive the global quotation and pricing operating model, ensuring flawless GRFx execution for both pricing and non-pricing RFQs.
- Define and execute the digital quotation roadmap (SupplyFrame DSI), ensuring strong user adoption and alignment with SupplyFrame and analytics.
- Lead supplier digital connectivity through APIs, SAP integration, and emerging platforms.
- Establish and govern global pricing and lead-time disciplines.
- Advance should-cost and landed-cost modeling capabilities.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver analytics and negotiation support.
- Drive CoE initiatives enabling enterprise-wide data frameworks.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience (10-15 years) leading global quotation or pricing functions.
- Proven ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
- Strong expertise in pricing governance and cost modeling.
- Experienced in supplier and contract negotiation
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership.
- SAP Knowledge
What Will Put You Ahead
- Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in similar Commercial Excellence or QPM teams in a global manufacturing company
- Experience owning digital quotation or pricing platforms.
- Deep knowledge of should-costing and VAVE.
- Understanding of Principle-Based Management (PBM).
- Background supporting NPD programs
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills, both verbal & written
- Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a matrixed organization
