About the Role
IFC Ventures is hiring a Quick Commerce Category Manager with a strong focus on category manager coordination and platform relationship management across Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart.
This is a platform-facing, execution-heavy role where success depends on your ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive faster execution with category managers and platform teams.
You will act as the bridge between IFC Ventures and platform category teams, influencing key levers such as visibility, placements, margins, campaigns, and overall platform growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Category Manager Coordination (Primary Responsibility)
- Act as the single point of contact for category managers across Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart
- Build and maintain strong relationships with platform stakeholders
- Drive:
- Homepage placements
- Campaign participation
- Category visibility and rankings
- Lead margin negotiations, trade discussions, and placement deals
- Ensure faster execution of listings, approvals, and campaigns through proactive follow-ups
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities within platform ecosystems
2. Quick Commerce Platform Management
- Manage day-to-day operations across Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart
- Oversee:
- Product listings and catalog optimization
- Pricing, discounting, and offer structures
- Inventory coordination and stock planning
- Ensure high product availability, discoverability, and performance
3. Ads & Performance Optimization
- Coordinate closely with platform Ads POCs to plan and execute advertising campaigns (search ads, sponsored listings, banners)
- Continuously align on what's working, what's not, and optimization opportunities
- Optimize campaigns for:
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
- Conversion rates
- Search visibility and ranking
- Work with Ads teams to iterate creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies
- Scale high-performing SKUs using platform insights, data analysis, and continuous experimentation
4. Sales Growth & Revenue Management
- Drive monthly revenue growth across quick commerce platforms
- Identify and scale high-performing SKUs and categories
- Execute:
- Platform campaigns
- Seasonal promotions
- Pricing and discount strategies
- Balance top-line growth with margin efficiency
5. Data Analysis & Insights
- Track and analyze:
- Sales, CTR, conversion rates
- Ad performance and ROI
- Search visibility and ranking trends
- Generate actionable insights to improve:
- Listings and discoverability
- Campaign performance
- Pricing strategies
- Use insights to support negotiations and platform strategy decisions
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Supply Chain (inventory planning and replenishment)
- Marketing (campaigns, creatives, launches)
- Finance (pricing, margins, profitability)
- Ensure fast execution and alignment across teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- Quick commerce / e-commerce / marketplace account management
- Hands-on experience with:
- Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart or similar platforms
- Strong ability to coordinate with external platform teams and drive outcomes
- Proven experience in:
- Negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship building
- Ads optimization and performance marketing
- Understanding of marketplace algorithms and visibility levers
- Data-driven mindset with strong execution focus
Preferred Background
- Experience in FMCG, skincare, or personal care categories
- Prior roles such as:
- Category Manager
- Key Account Manager (KAM)
- Marketplace Manager
- Familiarity with:
- Inventory planning and demand forecasting
- Quick commerce dashboards and analytics tools

- Strong network or direct working relationships with category managers across Blinkit, Zepto, or Instamart, enabling faster execution of placements, campaigns, and visibility opportunities
- Ability to accelerate approvals, unlock better placements, and drive quicker go-to-market execution
