Quantum is moving from research to revenue. India is establishing itself as a serious contender in the global quantum economy, and QpiAI is at the centre of that story. We are investing in a marketing leadership function that can build a defining category brand, generate enterprise pipeline at scale, and earn QpiAI a permanent seat at the table in every serious quantum conversation, domestically and internationally.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Director, Quantum Marketing to own the integrated marketing function across QpiAI's full quantum portfolio: quantum hardware (QVidya, Indus, Kaveri, Ganges), QCaaS, and applied quantum solutions. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for category building, demand generation, brand, content, events, analyst and press relations, and the marketing team that delivers it.

You will be the senior marketer in the room with QpiAI's executive team, our enterprise customers, sector analysts, government partners, and industry press. You will build and lead a marketing organization that operates as a real growth function, with measurable pipeline contribution and a clear brand strategy. You will set the agenda for how the world hears about QpiAI.

This role suits a marketing leader who has done it before, ideally in deep tech, enterprise cloud, or another emerging category. You are equally credible designing a paid digital funnel and standing on stage hosting a CXO roundtable in Mumbai or Delhi. You build teams, write the strategy, and still get into the work when it matters.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Category Building

  • Own the marketing strategy for QpiAI's quantum portfolio. Define positioning, messaging, segmentation, and the integrated annual marketing plan.
  • Establish QpiAI as the category-defining brand for quantum in India, and as a recognized global player in Tier 1 markets.
  • Set the annual marketing budget, allocate across channels and programs, and own ROI accountability to the executive team and board.
  • Partner with the CEO, CRO, and product leaders on go-to-market for new hardware launches, QCaaS feature releases, and major customer wins.

Integrated Demand Generation (Digital and Offline)

  • Lead the demand generation engine that produces measurable MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline across enterprise, government, defence, and research segments.
  • Own digital demand: paid search, paid social, programmatic, SEO, marketing automation, ABM, and conversion optimization on qpiai.com.
  • Own offline demand: flagship industry conferences, executive roundtables, customer briefings, partner co-marketing, sponsorships, and field events across India and target international markets.
  • Build integrated campaigns where digital and offline reinforce each other. Treat them as one motion, not two siloed budgets.
  • Run account-based marketing for QpiAI's top named accounts in close partnership with sales.

Brand, Content, and Thought Leadership

  • Own the QpiAI brand: visual identity, voice, message architecture, and brand consistency across every customer touchpoint.
  • Build a thought leadership programme that places QpiAI executives and applied scientists in the right rooms, publications, podcasts, and stages.
  • Own the editorial calendar across blogs, whitepapers, technical briefs, customer stories, executive bylines, and video.
  • Translate complex quantum and AI capabilities into business outcomes for enterprise buyers in BFSI, pharma, supply chain, energy, defence, and the public sector.

Events, Analyst Relations, and PR

  • Set the annual event strategy. Decide which conferences to sponsor, speak at, exhibit at, or skip, with clear ROI logic for each.
  • Build the QpiAI flagship event programme: signature customer summit, executive briefings centre, technical user group, and partner days.
  • Own analyst relations with Gartner, IDC, Forrester, Everest, ISG, and quantum-specialist analysts.
  • Own press and media relations, including spokesperson preparation, press releases, and proactive media engagement around launches and milestones.
  • Manage agency partners across PR, creative, performance media, and events.

Team Leadership and Operating Cadence

  • Build and lead the QpiAI marketing organization. Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team across digital, content, events, product marketing, and operations.
  • Establish the marketing operating rhythm: weekly funnel reviews, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and annual budget cycles.
  • Build a single source of truth for marketing performance with executive-grade dashboards that connect activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Operate as a peer to the CRO, Chief Product Officer, and CTO. Hold yourself and the team accountable to commercial outcomes, not vanity metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with the last 4-5 years in senior roles owning strategy, budget, and team.
  • Demonstrated mastery of both digital marketing and offline marketing as integrated disciplines. You have personally built and run programmes in both, not just supervised them.
  • Experience earned at a reputed enterprise technology firm or a well-funded growth-stage startup with a credible marketing function.
  • Proven track record of contributing measurable pipeline and revenue to an enterprise sales motion with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
  • Strong commercial instincts. You speak the language of pipeline, win rate, CAC, payback, and marketing-sourced revenue, not just impressions and clicks.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication. You can author a CIO-grade thought leadership piece, brief a journalist, and present to a board with equal confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing experience in deep tech, enterprise AI, cloud, semiconductors, or another emerging category that required educating the market.
  • MBA from a recognized institution.
  • Experience launching a new product category, not just a new product.
  • Existing relationships with India and global technology analysts, press, and conference programme committees.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing, optimization, or applied AI concepts. We are not asking for a physicist, but genuine curiosity for the science is essential.
  • International marketing exposure, particularly across the US, Europe, Middle East, or Southeast Asia.
  • Experience marketing to public sector, defence, or academic research institution customers in India.
