Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Costing & Budgeting
Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Working Days: 6 days a week
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and pre-construction activities for large-scale township and luxury real estate projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing project costs from inception through execution while ensuring financial efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Costing & Budgeting
. Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for township developments
. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis during the pre-construction phase
. Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets
. Evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Quantity Surveying
. Perform quantity take-offs and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation
. Verify contractor bills, measurements, and certifications
. Track variations, claims, and change orders
Pre-Construction Activities
. Support tendering processes, including bid analysis and vendor comparison
. Assist in procurement planning and cost benchmarking
. Collaborate with design and planning teams for accurate cost projections
Contract & Vendor Management
. Review contracts and ensure commercial compliance
. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers
. Manage payment schedules and cost reporting
Reporting & Documentation
. Maintain detailed cost reports, MIS, and financial tracking documents
. Provide regular updates to management on cost status and risks
. Ensure all documentation aligns with audit and compliance standards
Required Skills & Competencies
. Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, and budgeting
. Experience in township / large-scale residential projects
. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
. Good understanding of construction contracts and billing processes
. Strong analytical and negotiation skills
. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
. Prior experience in townships or luxury real estate projects is mandatory
