Quantity Surveyor (QS) / Estimator

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the financial management of our government projects from inception to completion. You will bridge the gap between architectural drawings and the final DPR.

Quantity Take-offs: Precise measurement of quantities from architectural and structural drawings.

Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on SOR (Schedule of Rates)specifically GWSSB, R&B, or CPWD rates.

DPR Support: Assisting in the preparation of the financial section of Detailed Project Reports.

Rate Analysis: Conducting market rate analysis for non-SOR items.

Tender Documentation: Assisting in the preparation of technical specifications and tender bid documents.

Qualifications

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience: 3+ years in Estimation/QS, preferably with experience in Gujarat Government projects.

Software Skills: * Expertise in MS Excel (Advanced formulas).

Proficiency in AutoCAD (for quantity extraction).

Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera is a plus.

Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Gujarat S.O.R. and local building by-laws.
