We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects.
- Manage project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct risk analysis and value management.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
- Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3-7 years of relevant work experience in quantity surveying or construction.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and standards.
