Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates and cost plans aligned with project briefs and evolving designs
  • Generate standard documentation such as quantity take-offs, reports, valuations, and formal letters
  • Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents and participate in contract reviews
  • Conduct tender analysis and support the preparation of tender evaluation reports
  • Support valuations and interim applications, including re-measurement and variation adjustments
  • Assist in settling construction disputes and preparing final accounts
  • Attend design and progress meetings remotely as required


Candidate Specification

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel


Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation
  • Proven track record in a Cost Consultancy environment
  • Familiarity with CostX, Power BI, and SharePoint
  • Sector experience in residential, mixed-use, or transport infrastructure projects
