Quantity Surveyor (Highways)
Job Description
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities of entire projects.
- Analysis of drawings and estimate quantities of Highway components like earthwork, structures, etc.
- Preparation of Bar bending schedules as per codes and drawings.
- Preparation of DPR, MPR & Strip Chart.
- Presentation to Clients on progress of the project.
- Site visits to check and verify the bills.
- Reconciliation of manpower, machinery and materials.
- Have sound knowledge of schedules of HAM/ EPC Projects of Highways.
- Rate Analysis.
- Change in scope, Price escalation
- Preparation of variation and claims.
- Able to prepare revenue vs expenditure details of entire project.
Job Specification
- Person should be a Diploma/ Engineering Graduate in Civil.
- Should have done the quantity estimation of Highway Projects of HAM / EPC Modes. Projects.
- Should have excellent computer skills like MS – Excel, Word, Power Point, etc
- Diligent and maintain correctness in his works.
