Quantity Surveyor Cum Billing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor Cum Billing Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing bills of quantities, and ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are well-managed. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction practices and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze project cost estimates and budgets.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and submit bills of quantities (BOQs) for project approval.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports regularly.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims and variations.
• Conduct site visits to assess work progress and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project delivery within budget.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and billing in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other estimation tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Understanding of Indian construction regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
