Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work from Office only, no remote or hybrid)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies across various asset classes, including equities, futures and options.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify alpha-generating opportunities using statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and mathematical algorithms.
- Develop, test, and back-test quantitative trading models using Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Collaborate with traders and developers to optimize trading systems and algorithms for execution efficiency and risk management.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies, making adjustments as necessary to enhance profitability and minimize risk.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in quantitative trading.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical modelling, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with statistical modelling, time series analysis, optimization techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and products.
- A passion for quantitative finance and a desire to apply technical skills to solve real-world problems.
